Day 01: Arrival Yangon

Arrive at Yangon International Airport (the main gateway to Myanmar). Welcome and transfer to hotel. Relax and sightseeing includes; Great Shwe Da Gon Pagoda (One of the wonder of the World and itself is a solid brick stupa (Buddhist reliquary) that is completely covered with gold. It rises 326 feet (99 m) on a hill. Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, huge 72 metre Reclining Buddha Image. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

 

Day 02: Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo(Golden Rock)

Breakfast at hotel and morning leave for Kyaikhtiyo by private a/c car, enjoy a scenic journey by road to Kyaiktiyo, 190km to the east. One of Myanmar’s great pilgrimage sites is the Golden Rock at Kyaiktiyo, a huge boulder covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Late morning, arrive at Kyaiktiyo base camp and transfer to the transit junction with one of the small open trucks in a one hour ride. After lunch, start an easy walk up to the Golden Rock and enjoy sunset from this unforgettable site. Overnight in hotel in Kyaiktiyo.

Day 03: Kyaikhtiyo – Taungoo

Breakfast at Hotel. Drive down back to base camp and proceed to Taungoo. On the way to Taungoo you can make sightseeing. Arrive at Taungoo and overnight at Hotel in Taungoo.

 

Day 04:Taungoo – Kalaw

Breakfast at hotel and morning sightseeing in Taungoo and proceed to Kalaw, Hill station is 1400 metre above the sea level and for trekking. Overnight at hotel in Kalaw.

Day 05:Kalaw trekking

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to Kalaw Market and trekking around Kalaw. Overnight at hotel in Kalaw..

Day 06: Kalaw – Pindaya

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Pindaya Cave, well known for its extensive limestone caves. The caves are set deep in the hillsides and there stands at the entrance, a 15 meter high Shwe U Min Pagoda. Late afternoon back to hotel and overnight at hotel in Pindaya.

Day 07:Pindaya – Inle lake

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to PIndaya Market and proceed to Nyaung Shwe Jetty. Afternoon sightseeing by private boat. Sightseeing includes; a chance to see the leg-rowing fishermen. Continue to see the floating gardens, built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. In the afternoon continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the weaving village of Inpawkhon and the jumping cat monastery. Overnight at hotel in Inle Lake.

Day 08:Inle lake

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, visit In Dein Village in the south of the lake by private boat. From the middle of the lake, continue down a small canal leading to the village of In Dein, a recently opened area in Shan State. After a walk around the village, passing a local school, take the covered stairway to the beautiful Alaung Sitthou area where ancient stupas are partly covered by vegetation. From here there is a magnificent view over the lake. Overnight at hotel in Inle lake.

Day 09: Inle lake – Mandalay

Breakfast at hotel. Morning leave for Nyaung Shwe Jetty. And proceed to Mandalay by private car. Arrive at Mandaly and proceed to Hotel. Relax and sightseeing at Mandalay Down Town Area. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 10:Mandalay – Amarapura – Innwa – Sagaing

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning sightseeing Mandalay to Mahagandaryone Monastery for offering alm food to thousand monks, Mahamuni Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha himself, Tapestry works, Wood carving & bronze castling workshops, Marble carving workshop and silk weaving home cottage. Evenging back to hotel and afternoon excursion includes; Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monstery – noted for its exquisite wood carvings, gold leaf beating workshop, Atumashi Monstery, Kuthodaw Pagoda – known as the world biggest book and finish the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the sun-set and the panoramic view of the city. Overnight at Hotel in Mandalya.

Day 11:Mandalay – Pyin Oo Lwin – Mandalay

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning drive up to Pyin Oo Lwin Hill Station over 1000 metre above sea level. It is well-known for its colonial-style houses with large compound and pine trees, eucalyptus and silver-oak abound in town. Visit National Kandawgyi Gardens, Pwe Kauk and Anisakan Waterfalls. Goteik Viaduct and Peik Chin Myaung Caves. Late afternoon, back to Mandalay and overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 12: Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay

Breakfast at Hotel. Visit Mingun Bell, Settawya Pagoda and Hsinbyume Pagoda by boat across the Ayeyarwaddy River and romantic country side. After lunch, visit U Min Thonezai Pagoda, Sagaing Hill and environ. Drive back to Mandalay. Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.

Day 13: Mandalay – Monywa

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Monywa about 136 km far from Mandalay. Arrive at Monywa and sightseeing includes; Than-bok-de Pagoda with over 500,000 Buddha Images, Bodhi-ta-htaung (one thousand Bo trees). Ledi Kyaungteik Monastery where Buddhist scriptures are inscribed on 806 stone slabs and kyauka Village known for its own style of lacquerware. Late afternoon back to hotel and overnight at hotel in Monywa.

Day 14: Monywa – Bagan

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning drive to Bagan. Arrive at Bagan and proceed to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Bagan

Day 15: Bagan

Breakfast at hotel. Then sightseeing in Bagan includes: Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda – the prototype for later Myanmar pagodas built by King Anawrahta, Ananda Temple – King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowing achievement of the early style temple of architecture. Overnight at Hotel in Bagan.

Day 16: Bagan – Mt. Popa – Salay – Bagan

Breakfast at Hotel. Drive to Mt. Popa. Visit Popa Taungkalatt and environ. After lunch, proceed to Salay. Visit Yoe Soe Kyaung, 120 years old wooden monastery, Man Phaya – the largest lacpuer Buddhist Image. Drive back to Bagan. Overnight at Hotel in Bagan.

Day 17: Bagan

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning visit to Kyansitha Umin, Thatbyinnyu Temple – the highest building on the Bagan plain and Htilominlo Temple – the largest temples of Bagan. Evening visit Lacquer-ware making home cottage, Manuha Temple, Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi Temple – known for its wall paintings depicting scenes from the Jataka and Dhamanyangyi Temple. Evening sun-set view of Bagan from Buphaya or Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight at Hotel in Bagan.

Day 18: Bagan – Pyay

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning leave for Pyay City. On the way you can view the way of life of Myanmar People. Arrive at Pyay and relax at hotel and sightseeing includes: Thaya Khittaya (Sri Ksetra), an archaeological site of the ancient Pyu capital(5th – 9th century). Day 19: Pyay - Yangon

Day 20: Yangon – Departure

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Airport for departure.
